NLdigital, in collaboration with its members, has developed the Data Pro Code: a concrete interpretation of the requirements of the Avg. This code of conduct is specific to processors (data processors). These are ICT companies that process data on behalf of someone else.
What is the meaning of a Data Pro Certification?
Processors who adhere to the Data Pro Code can demonstrate this by getting certified. This Data Pro certification was launched in May 2019 and the first companies have now been certified, including Teqa.
In concrete terms, certification means that an external auditor tests the status of the company's Data Pro Statement. The auditor also conducts a risk analysis and assesses the company's answers to various privacy issues. Every successful company receives the Data Pro Certificate and is included in the Data Pro register.
